Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by.  My name is Alison and this blog is for me to chronicle my life in an old stone house in Lanark County, Ontario.

You'll find that I have three pet topics:  knitting, my vegetable garden and food.  Lately, there has been more and more about spinning and less about food.  The garden is obviously a seasonal occupation.

Occasionally I talk about my family and from time to time, my dogs.  I have two dogs, a yellow Labrador Retriever called Jake and a Treeing Walker Coonhound called Runner.  Both of which can usually be found on the couch.
